On December 5 the second Nokia Trends Lab festival is set to take place in the Gaudi Club in Moscow. Nokia Trends Lab Moscow Experiment 2 will be headlined by dance-punk Scots Shitdisco, American singer Santogold, Canadian producer Tiga and British DJ Moussa Clarke. On Russia’s part the event will be supported by DJ Orange aka One Dollar, art-director at Denis Simachёv Bar and connoisseur of non-commercial dance music, who creates refined but always memorable tracks to accompany fashion-shows.
But Nokia Trends Lab is more as always: Various Music-, Video- and Design Lab’s will fill the different zones of the event. In November online pre-event Labs were launched on www.nokiatrendslab.ru and on the mobile web page m.nokiatrendslab.ru. The best music and video experiments that are being held there specimens will be shown at the event itself. Tiga and ShitDisco have become mentors of two Labs, accompanied by their assistants – one of Russia’s main video-art masters VJ Eps, and Moscow performers Andriesh (Dsh-Dsh band) and Mujuice.

New Young Pony Club, Shitdisco, Ladytron, Bugo, Calvin Harris, Eboman, Pfadfinderei, Musolab, Men In Skratch, Nikki, and Aladyn lit up the stage of the Alcatraz in Milan on Thursday November 20, 2008 for the third Italian edition of the Nokia Trends Lab.

In addition to the extraordinary line up of artists playing at the event, the italian crowd also had the opportunity to meet and create with some of the musical legends in the Mix & Demo Area, run by NTL mentors Eboman, Pfadfinderei, Men In Skratch and Musolab. They creatively collaborated using the content sent in from users weeks prior to the event with that recorded in real-time during the event, shaping the core of creative experimentation in front of our eyes!
Live experiments throughout the night included a VJ Lab, workshop on VJ Flash Mobile, creating video content for the N-Cinema Project, and the N-Gage Zone, dedicated to gaming. During the evening, the audience were able to send their creations, via SMS, to a giant screen that displayed their graphic experiments.
In short, a total experience. A unique laboratory, enhancing creative experimentation, which left the crowd thirsty for more.

On November 28, Le Showcase in Paris was buzzing once again with an unbelievable line up of artists ready to make the whole building shake with energy!
Santogold, Diplo, Chairlift, Erol Alkan and Uffie could each do the job on their own. The combination of skills and flavor that pumped the evening, however, created a sexy exciting atmosphere of unparalleled proportions!
Coupled with the cutting edge technology provided by Nokia Trends Lab, the crowd didnt experience a moment of monotony. From the presentation of the music lab featuring Santogold and Diplo, the producer contest, the Design and Fashion labs, and even a mobile phone laser customization area, the night was filled with ear ringing bass and inspirational live experiments.
